Kimlea Clinic

Kimlea Clinic, provides medical care to the labourers in the tea plantations and environs surrounding Kimlea Technical Training Centre in Tigoni. It started as a medical assistance program, at a time when many serious household accidents and illnesses were being reported, and few of the people able to afford medical attention.

Through funding from Fundación RODE (Spain), a permanent clinic was built and opened in 2006.  The facility has a fully qualified doctor, nurses, laboratory technician, pharmaceutical technologist and counsellor.
