Maryanne Nakide a student at Tewa Training Centre wrote this short letter of appreciation to Safaricom Foundation for their Ndoto Zetu program that has seen the fitting of the Tewa Centre ICT lab with new computers and a photocopier.
I am really happy and excited for the change that has come to Tewa. Indeed, it is a brand new year! I really appreciate and would like to pass my sincere gratitude to the Safaricom Foundation for the improvement brought to our institution. We have received new computers and a photocopier and are grateful that through your efforts all the students here will be able to acquire new skills and also gain knowledge. The computers will help us develop our digital skills and become more confident users.
On behalf of the entire Tewa community I would like to assure you that we will not let you down and that all your efforts will not be in vain. We will practice the spirit of hard work cooperation and determination. We also promise to listen attentively to our teachers to be able to learn more from them.
