Every year on August 19th, the world pauses to honor those who step forward to lift others in times of need. This year’s theme — “Strengthening Global Solidarity and Empowering Local Communities” — resonates deeply with the mission of Kianda Foundation.

Humanitarian work is more than charity; it is partnership. It is walking side by side with communities, offering opportunities, resources, and hope so that lasting change can take root. At Kianda Foundation, we witness this every day.

💠 Children’s Health Program (CHEP): Thousands of children in rural Kenya receive medical care, nutrition, and life-changing treatment through CHEP. Every healthy smile and confident step forward is a testament to what happens when solidarity meets action.

💠 Fanikisha: Women facing immense challenges are trained in business, cookery, and life skills. These programs empower them to create livelihoods, provide for their families, and inspire their communities. Each success story ripples far beyond the individual.

💠 Kimlea, Kibondeni & Tewa Training Centres: Education is the foundation of opportunity. Young women gain technical and hospitality skills that unlock careers, independence, and dignity. Their transformation is a powerful reminder of the potential within every community.
